YAKOV KAMEN
President and CTO
Yakov Kamen has over 19 years of software development experience in 3-D
graphics, digital imaging and video. Before founding Entetel, he co-founded and
held the CTO position at iSurfTV Corporation, a developer of innovative
interactive television technology, acquired by Tribune Media Services in July
2003. Previously, he managed the Advanced Software Development Group at Epson
Research and Development Inc. where he formulated Epson's 3-D imaging product
strategy and supervised the creation and development of new product lines and
core technology. He held engineering management positions at Enterprise
Productivity Systems Inc. and Nvidia Corp. and research positions at Sun
Microsystems, Fujitsu and Viewgraphics. Kamen received his Ph.D. in computer
science from Novokuznetsk (Siberia) Institute of Technology. He holds 5
patents, has several other patents pending and has published over 50 scientific
articles.
